The Pleasaunce is
one of five centres owned and operated by Christian Endeavour Holiday Centres
Ltd (CEHC Ltd), also known as ‘The Christian Holiday
People’ who have been providing holidays for 100 years.
CEHC Ltd is a Registered Charity
and its aim is to provide & extend the Christian faith by
offering holidays organised on an ecumenical basis without
any denominational bias. As such we cater for families,
individuals, Church groups, conferences, schools &
organisations, such as ramblers, all of whom can benefit
from the facilities on offer.
The Pleasaunce is open all year round, including Christmas
and the New Year. |
The Charitable
Trust
The Charitable Trust Fund
exists which is set up for people, nominated by guests, who
would benefit from a holiday at The Pleasaunce, but who
would have difficulty meeting the cost. All guests have the
opportunity to contribute to this fund and to nominate a
person they may consider suitable for this benefit. Details
about making such nominations are available under separate
cover.
The Ethos of Christian Endeavour
remains very much to the fore in our activities, with
emphasis on times of individual and shared prayer and
devotions, scheduled on a daily basis to meet all needs,
including the needs of our staff, all of whom are Christian
and most are volunteers, mainly from overseas.
We welcome Christians
from the full range of denominations and all church
backgrounds, and indeed from none, but who would wish to
share in Fellowship at The Pleasaunce.
